Due in the main to the fact that the company is wholly family owned, it is by and large self-financing. Robert, ably assisted by his son Chris controls commercial aspects. Nigel and Andrew oversee contracts with a hands on approach. Site Managers/General Foremen; Eddie Williams, Mike Williams and Gary Barkley are vastly experienced and highly respected in their individual fields and well capable of managing and understanding most aspects of building and allied trades. The Company Policy is to employ the best consultants available, and that Accountants, Solicitors, Quantity Surveyors and Designers etc., must be seen to be an integral part of the overall team. Maintenance Works A 'call out' service is provided for the Derwen College and various Hotels, Pubs, Shops and Supermarkets. Environmental We recognise that our activities have an impact on the environment and we are committed to minimise that impact through seeking to continually improve our environmental performance and pursue the objectives of our environmental policy. We are committed to Energy Efficiency and will continue to seek to provide the most efficient heating methods and will always endeavour to exceed the prescribed insulation values. Health & Safety The company has completed many contracts under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 1994, both as a Planning Supervisor and Principle Contractor. Risk assessments and Method Statements and produced for all relevant works. Regular 'Tool Box' talks and Management meetings are held. Our objective is to provide adequate resources to Health & Safety matters at all times. The company Health & Safety Policy is available on request. We are extremely proud of our excellent record in respect of Health & Safety.
